Delete your Cardz Studio account

1. Delete it yourself, in the app
This is the quickest way and takes under a minute. You need your Parent PIN.
- Open Cardz Studio and sign in.
- Open the Parent Dashboard and enter your Parent PIN.
- Tap your parent profile.
- Open the Danger zone section and tap Delete account permanently.
- Enter your Parent PIN, then enter it once more to confirm.
The deletion happens straight away. You are signed out and the app returns to the sign-in screen.
2. Can't sign in? Ask us by email
Email support@cardzstudio.com from the address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my Cardz Studio account. We will confirm it is you, then delete the account and tell you when it is done. We aim to finish within 30 days, and usually much sooner.
3. What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in email address.
- Every student profile on the account, including names and avatars.
- All decks, folders, cards, images, mind maps and study history.
- Your subscription, which is cancelled immediately so you are not charged again.
- Any device pairing and leaderboard entries linked to the account.
This cannot be undone. If you want a copy first, open Settings and use the backup export to download your decks before you delete.
4. What we may keep
Payment and invoice records may be kept by our payment processor, Stripe, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They are not used for anything else. Nothing else about you is kept once your account is deleted.
5. Deleting one student, not the whole account
To remove just one student's profile and their decks, open the same Danger zone and choose that student's Delete profile permanently button. The rest of the family's account stays as it is.
